When God gave his commands in Exodus there was much "neighborly" talk. to such and extent than one person who didn't want to treat people in a decent fashion jumped fly with Jesus in conversation by saying, "Who is my neighbor?" (Luke 10:29) It is obvious that the position of our hearts is verifiable by the way we treat people. When we Love God above all and we treat people right, when we mistreat people we are either forgetting about our relationship with God, or we don't have one.
